Welcome to all our new members from Portsmouth Grammar School, who train on a Mon, Wed & Fri. Grading is at Hayling Island.
Grading - Grading will now take place 3 times a year; in early March, mid July and the end of November. Invites are only issued at the discretion of the Sensei Instructors. Display Team are looking for bookings for the “2012”, for more information click here |

Things to know · The training costs £ 4 a session. · Each New Member is required to purchase Student Licence which costs £20 and includes your NAKMAS Member to Member Accident Insurance for one year. Annual renewal costs £7.50. · Every New Member starts off as a White Belt. · Anyone above the age of 4 years old can join. We have many adults who are over 40 who join for the first time to learn Karate. · Your Teachers are called Sensei if they are a black belt and above. It they are a senior grade teaching they are known as Senpei. · The ethos of the Club is embedded in the phrase; “Gi Jitsu Yori Shinjitsu”- Spirit First, Technique Second · Japanese words to learn that are used in the lesson.
